Revisit of January 4, 2017

Emerald Aisle Farm Master Mind Meeting
January 4, 2017
I am not defined by negative circumstances.
I am not defined by other people’s opinions.

RULES:
1.    No negativity.  We honor each other always in a positive light without criticizing in any way.
2.    We must remember to find something to approve of in each person at the meeting and say so to them.
3.    We listen to the speaker without interrupting until question time, unless otherwise directed by the speaker.

Our next meeting is January 4, 2017 at 7:30 PM
If you are earlier than that please respect our Adult Children of Alcoholics Meeting

Our previous meeting was inspirational!  It was a dark and foggy night that leant a surrealistic aura to the event.  Even with several heaters we were freezing before we were finished, but I for one, was not daunted, only inspired to find new ways to upgrade the meeting area.  Holly shared her Al-Anon speech, Phyllis shared Adult Children of Alcoholics information, and I presented the outline and expectations of our first ever Mastermind Meeting!

I am still just as pumped about the concept of "Partners in Believing" as I was when I wrote the above note after the meeting in 2017.  I am deeply aware that for our growth to be strong it must move slowly so that we can fully absorb our change into every fiber of our being.

I can really see my changes especially when I am visiting with people who are resisting change.  I appreciate my deeper understanding of free will and how my choices affect my life.  I have found joy and contentment on purpose in the midst of my chaos.

I can smile with forgiveness instead of reacting with pain when people insinuate that their life experience was so much more painful than mine.  I am happy that I accepted that my tragedies are crucial building blocks that make up the person that I am becoming.  The person I am today can hold space easily for those who are in the understanding of their own inconsistency, knowing that they are expanding their awareness.

Love, Carmen
